One | 柱状图 | The bar chart shows different types of transport used by tourists in New Zealand. |
参考范文:
The bar chart given compares information about various means of transport that travellers from Britain, Germany, Japan, Korea and Australia take in New Zealand.
As can be seen from the graph, what impresses us most is that cars are the most prevalent
transport tool among the visitors from the countries mentioned above except Japanese, most of whom would rather choose a plane or a coach.
More precisely, 60% of British tourists love cars and less than one fifth of them take a coach in comparison to over a half of Japanese select planes and coaches. Dissimilarly, roughly 50% of Germans prefer cars and ferries, while a minimal number of them (20%) like coaches.
Similar to Japanese visitors, ferries are chosen by the least number of Koreans, with no more than 10%. However, the majority of Australians are in favor of cars, whereas each of the rest three categories of transport is favored by only around 10% of Australians.
Overall, there are evident differences in the transportation options among the five countries, but cars keep the first choice by most visitors.

Philanthropism, an everlasting topic throughout history, has developed from occasional, individual demeanour to organized and long-term conduct, but who could be the beneficiaries of these deportments when time comes to the era of globalization?
Some may claim that the help should not be restrained by nationalities. Firstly, it is because they advocate that the human beings are created on equality. Thus, the donated fund could be offered to anyone who demands it most in the world, which also manifests a sense of humanirianism and a moral responsibility to the fellow people in other countries. Also, the international aid can show a country’s kindness and benevolence, hence gaining a positive reputation and promoting image for a country globally. And these behaviors have already taken place now and then. For example, when there was a terrible disaster, like atsunami or earthquake, in Indonesia, China or other countries, they received various aid, involving materials, goods, technology and human resources, from regions all over the world.
But a certain number of people in their own country refute that the sum of donation should be used to help their own citizens. They hold that there are still huge quantities of people who live in poverty around themselves and they are the persons who should be given priority to, where there is an element of truth. For instance, many under-developed countries share such limited resources that they even cannot feed their own people, so every penny is of significant value to them. In this case, it is quite understandable that the local charity organizations must give the precedence to their people.
In conclusion, how to allocate the charity money entirely relies on the notions of the donors themselves. As for me, I would suggest that any charity deportments are encouraged to benefit people worldwide as long as they are abundant in budget.
